The ram:

Infineon pc133 cas3 3.3v

The OC:

152FSB , 3-2-3 , no interleave , all rest optimal ram settings , 3.6v

The results:

1130
1108

Completely stable

How does that look ? I was woundering how it fairs against other pc133's ... Its on a Abit KT7a-Raid , with an underclocked tbird 1.4 @ 912 (im working on the watercooling situation)

How about mine? I'm running samsung 2700 512mb ram.

2508
2376

running at cas 2 agressive ram timings, 173MHz.

100% stable

nice score, but you could still try to get it up a bit more.

Here's mine:

I know for today standards its bad ; but for what i got is it what was expected ? at p133 cas 2 my scores were ~980-1000 , so i think that pc152 cas3 is better ....

Here's how to tell:

PC133 uses 133.3333333333333333333MHz on 8 byte bus. Multiply the two, you get 1066.666666666666666666667MB/Second Max. Theoretical Bandwidth

Now take actual, divide my maximum theoretical, multiply by 100 to get your % effeciency.

On a 152MHz bus with PC133, MTB is 1216, so you are getting ~@93% Effeciency, which is quite good!

Yeah Penguin.. I've know that since my P4B266.. P4 systems aren't too affected by Cas latency, Bandwith is were it's at for P4, everyone knows this. But he's running a Athlon that much rather have a Cas2 than a Cas3..

I was doing a test to see what the difference would be @ 2-2-2 & @ 3-3-3 , so i brought down the fsb to 100 . At 3-3-3 i got 745/730 and at 2-2-2 i got 751/741 . If u average them together thats only a ~1% increase , so i think i will be happy with my non-cas agressive settings .. :D

I hope you know Sandra isn't the only way to test out your memory bandwith. Run 3Dmark 2000 at 640x480 and set your video card to the lowest settings... then tell me what's faster..

all i got is 3dmark 2001se , will that do ?

not really, 3Dmark2001SE is way more video card intensive. You want to eliminate the video card as a bottle neck and use 3Dmark2000 at the lowest settings..

3Dmark2000

900 9x100 2-2-2 = 4165
900 9x100 3-3-3 = 3986 -4.2%

933 7x133 2-2-3 = 4495 (the fastest I could go)
933 7x133 3-3-3 = 4409 -1.9%
900 6x150 3-2-3 = 4571 +1.6%

haha you kids.... check my mem score... :) :) :)

That huge pic is exactly the reason why pics in this forum have been limited to 300x300. It takes up too much space.
