I installed a GF4-MX460 the other day, but now I have to turn my system on twice before she will boot (mobo beeps for a longer time than normal and nothing else happens) after it has been shut down for a while. I reseated the card multiple times. Once it boots everything's fine, no probs at all, the card is even OCed! What can this be? I've had something similar when I changed mainboards a while ago and it took a larger PSU (235W to 300W) to resolve that issue. Could this be it again? Does the new card draw a lot more amps compared to my old GF2-MX? My system is quite loaded, see my signature...

Interesting problem. Have you stripped out all non-essential hardware and tried booting the system with out those componets in the system?

I would try booting the system with only these parts

Motherboard
CPU
Memory
Hard Drive
Video Card

If the problem doesn't occur with just those parts, then gradually start adding the other parts back on until the problem returns.

If the problem happens with just those parts in, the I would try the video card in another system to see if it has the same problems there. Good Luck.
