my pc seems to be running slow for whats in it. heres the specs can anyone spot the low point.

3 7200 rpm hds a 60 and a 40 gb on a stripe raid array(66% full and defraged and a 100 gb by itself(41% full i have a kr7a-raid mobo a geforce 4 ti 4400 and a soundblaster live 5.1 i have a antec trueblue 480 pws and a old radeon all in wonder for a secound video card (disabled) i have 512 mb of pc 2700 ram in slot 1 all cables are ata133 rounded i have a amd athlon 1900 (the max posible on this board cooling is a volcano 9 i have a tdk 24x cd-rw and a dvd rom have no clue make or speed im in an antec full tower. Anyway my system spects i believe are not that bad at all. My performance is mediocre(sp?) all the drives are always defraged and my performance still is not that great i have tops about 60 fps in cs for instance and on low res for dragolithic in benchmarks i hit tops 200 fps TOPS no aa 640-480 thats god awfull for that setup WHATS WRONG i have the money and i want to know why im lagging also im on a cisco 677 adsl from altel and my ping on most cs servers is way high compared to everyone else even people near me i would realy apppreiciate any coments thnx guys

Try running Sandra, cpu, multimedia, and memory benchmarks and reporting back. That way, there will be some reliable and concrete data to compare to your system, and suggestions will be better.

Looks like your settings are ok. Now run the cpu, multimedia, and memory speed tests, and look at the numbers. For example, on the CPU test, it will report MFLOPS and MIPS. It will also give you systems to compare to.

Have ya defragged and scandisked lately...I did when my computer was slow loading. After the defrag it was back to normal.
