Chillers? Cheap freezers? How can I chill my water mix? Idea?

I thought of this (http://fordpinto.homestead.com/ClosedLoopPeltier.html) a while back. I haven't gotten around to building it, and I don't know if I will (busy with other projects), but you wouldn't need to spend a lot. Just two more water blocks and a peltier. An added plus is that you could supply the 200-300 pounds of clamping pressure that peltiers are recommended for.

If you do this, could you e-mail me? I'm busy with my work and all, but if this works pretty well, I will set some time aside to do this.

I also had though of building this intercooler (got as far as drawing it out) and then came across an article where someone had done this with two homebrew blocks and a pair of peltiers. The biggest plus I could think of was that if the peltier failed you'd still have water cooling.

Hey that's Nice and all mang- I'm doing something a bit similar exept I have a 156w being cooled by a danger-den maze being cooled by an 80watt being cooled another maze. I'll use a 10 gallon fish tank as a radiator and I'm trying to find a cusil or silver coldplate and a freezer or chiller setup instead of a fishtank.
Suggestions anyone? --- Hey I'm not into the radiator Idea using just water. I would like to run a anti-freeze redline water mix with something affordable yet chilling. Can anyone tell me more about evaporators? I might be interested in using a radiator with a small car Air condition setup, can anyone tell me how to pull the AC out of a car? How about mini-freezers for a cheap price? Nail polish chillers? A freon coil? Where are the links?

A-Bomb, I was thinking about evap coolers today and was wondering how those fine air bubblers would work, or the "curtain of air" bubbler that is a tube with a bunch of holes. Seeing as you are using a fish tank (no fish in it I hope :-D ) how about trying it to see how well it increases your cooling. I think that because of the relatively large surface area of the bubbles it should cool the water reasonably well. A cheapie air pump and some bubblers and you've got a variation on the "Bong" cooler.

The best way to add evap cooling to the fish tank is with a minow miser. This is a device that keeps a bucket of bait fresh all day while fishing. It consists of a float that houses a small motor and water pickup. On the top of the unit is a round wheel that atomizes the water and throws it sideways in a circular pattern. The thing is about the size of a hockey puck With an extra wheel on the top to spray the water. Also runs on 12v so it could be powered either by the comp or a small transformer.

It says in your signiture that you use chilled watercooling on your 1333 t-bird. May I ask what you are using to chill the water?
