Mixed Ram and oc'ing?

I have one stick of pc2700 kingston 512 mb, and one stick of generic pc2100. Will this hurt my oc'ing experience? I'm fairly new at this but I'm having alot of fun, thanks for the feedback!

You will be limited to the fastest the slower stick can do.
