Why do i need to lower the multiplier from 10.5 .. Is there an advantage with a lower setting mmmmmmmm

can't i just increase the fsb and go from 10.5

people lower the multi so they can obtain even higher fsb settings. If your pci/agp cards and ram can handle it.. you computer will run a lot faster with a higher fsb.

example...

10.5 x 133

8.5 x 164

are the same cpu speed, but the last one will give you better performance

yeah but also its a bit risky in the long run it sometimes damages stuff like ur harddrives and maybe a card or 2.. but other have no prob with it whats so ever. and if u dont then perfect but i found its not as stable with me.. but my ram is **** so im not suprised.
