Is this mounting system easier than a standard waterblock screw down clamp to get right? Please list your experiences with the Maze2 mounting system. Thanks, Mark

It is really easy to use. You will have to take the mobo off of the tray to secure the nylon studs to the mobo, then slip the waterblock over the studs, install the springs and washers and tighten all -EVENLY. That is important, but easy to do. Goodluck, and keep up posted on your progress

While you have the mobo out to install the bolts cut a square hole in the tray right behind where the cpu sits. If you remove and install the block a few times the bolts could slip and become loose. It is a lot nicer to have access to the back to tighten the nuts up instead of having to pull the mobo to do it.

I also replace the nuts on top of the springs with knurled brass thumb screws to make it easier to attatch. When you bolt it down make sure you tighten evenly, measure the distance each nut is screwed on. I tighten until the springs are compressed about 3/4 of the way.

Good luck with the watercooling!

I just went to RadioShack and bought a nibbling tool. I used it on the area that the CPU sits on the case and cut out a large portion of the sheet metal. That way I never had to remove my MB and I can install the nylon bolts and nuts at anytime I want. I suggest the same. I also cut out 1 hole in the back of the case so I can run the hoses through it and to the DD Cube sitting on top of my case and then down to my external pump and resuvoir combo. This setup works the best for me. Look into it. Just my suggestions...
