need help on using Arctic Silver 3

hi guys.
i just got an Arctic Silver 3 compound. but i'm not sure how to use it effectively on a cpu and my soundcard, so could anyone share me some light on the most effective way of using it and how to apply? thanx heaps

just a dab on the CPU and VIDEO card cores. it will then flatten out when you put on the heatsink
