heres my setup
120mm in the front bottom(its a radishack badass...all metal :) )
80mm where the floppy is supposed to go
60 behind the cpu
hard drive cooler in the bottom 3.5 inch bay
one of those pci slot coolers
and im getting 122f/51c all the time.going to lap the heatsink when im bored(i just found out about that...for newbies its when you sandpaper the heatsink that touches the cpu to a mirror finish)
now....is 51c doing damage to my chip or should i just relax?
also i have asus probe 2
read that its -/+ 10c.....so.....yeah...
ive spent 50$ on fans last week and ill get a temp probe later....but yeah
thanks all

you have all that blowing in and only a 60 going out. Thats not going to work. You need a balanced airflow.

yeha, definetely switch some fans around. balanced airflow in and out is key! also, if thats a glaciator in pic and thats what you are using for hsf, then you should definetely be below 51 degrees! try switching the fans and let us know how its goes.

never be afraid to ask! I always come away from here either slapping my forehead or saying "how could not have remembered that" or "Duh!"
