Dual AMD memory

I see some people are using UNregistered ram here in the forums on their dual amd, it says to use registered why is that? when it works with unregistered. My dual amd board is coming soon and need to know what ram to use

that would most likly be for stability resons as registered RAM is more stable (as it has an extra clock delay added)
