Does a 1.0 OCed to 1.4 generate more heat than a 1.2-1.4 OC?

Does it make a difference as to where you start from? Assume that a voltage change is not required.

Also- can a 1.0AXIA reach 1.3-1.4 speeds w/o a voltage upping?

However i think the 1.2-1.4 will dissipate the heat better than 1.0-1.4 because the 1.2 chip contains more transistors.
Meaning you have to work harder to pump the same amount of heat from the 1.0 chip.
I think that sounds right.
Anyone out there know if this is true or not?

This may be true, but if it is, it would make a very small diffrence.

You would, hoever get a more heat difference going from a 1gig to 1.4 then going from 1.2 to 1.4. The DIFFERENCES will be greater on the 1gig. However, there are still more factors into play to determine heat. 1.2gig at 1.4 may run at default voltage of 1.75, whereas the 1gig needs 1.85 to run at 1.4gigs. Therefor the 1gig would actually be putting out more heat considering there is more voltage in it then the 1.2. Am I making any sense here? I hope I am explaining it correctly.
