Using pelts on Voodoo5 5500?

Is it reasonable to do this? Also, what wattage pelts would I need and how tall would the heatsinks be? Thanks.

Now that I think about it, I would not only need money to burn, but also whatever cards I have in the PCI slots under would also have to burn! ;D Not to mention killing my case temps.

Just spend not even 20 dollars and get two blorbs for the GPU's, thats what I did.

I thought about doing this as well. But then In a split second the thought left! Mainly the amount of money to put 2 decent tecs on it along with the unbelievable amounts of heat that would be dumped into the case!
Although if you ran it along with your watercooling with an external pump and radiator it might be worth a shot. but very expensive. Also I honestly dont believe you would gain anything as far as speed by doing all of this. I really believe you could get the same results as far as overclocking with good air cooling on the card. I think video cards are a lot more limited then CPU's are. Getting them really cold wont allow you to get the clock speed much more, mainly due to the memory on the cards.

Not tried it on a Voodoo but I've peltier'd two geforce cards, a Prophet gts and a Elsa 920 GF3.
On both cards it gained me 30 to 35 Mhz on the core clock speed. You really need to use watercooling because with air cooling you would lose all your pci slots, my water-cooled set-up only loses me one pci.

i wouldn't, the peltiers would be worth less with a voodoo 5 5500 on them
