Will My Mobo Take XP's ?

I have an Iwill KA266 Motherboard Its the Ali Magic Chipset Can it take Athlon XP's i'm only looking to go up to like 1600+ that will be enough of an upgrade or should i just put out for a new motherboard as well and look for a good combo deal... ?

Check out the AMD website for compatible mobos but I would be most surprised if your mobo didnt take an XP palomino.
