Based on feedback I got on my question about scsi I have decided to saty IDE and get a pair of 80 gig WD w 8mb cache, I would prefer to fina a pair of 60's or 40's to be honest but they are not available at this time. Hopefully they will be when I am ready to buy.

I do not think I will be getting rid of my 8K3A board as it overclocks very well and it has been real solid for me. Unless when nforce2 comes out it is really worth the buy.

So I will need to buy a raid controller card. What is a good card to get to work with my 8K3A Epox board.

www.xbitlabs.com has a huge array of reviews, and check out www.storagereview.com also.
I personally favour Highpoint controlled cards due to adjustable stripe size, decent updates and good price, but others will probably recommend something else.
