I found a new heatsink that was made by the folks who co-panented or sold the design of the Thermoengine. The new "FO-BE25" is a smaller thermoengine but has a copper core and really kicks ass. I've only found 2 reviews of it... http://www.2fastcpu.com/fobe25d/page1.html and http://www.ocprojects.com/TI/FOBE25.htm. Unfortunately, neither of them gave the results compared to ambient. Regardless, the FO-BE25 out preformed the Thermoengine, the Volcano II and the FOP 38. I'm really excited about this HSF, but I haven't found anything on where or when its gonna hit online store "shelves".

oh yeah... the first article explains Thermal Integrations (TI) relationship with Thermosonic, and goes into even more detail in the forums with an official statement from TI

Ooh Ooh! I got a stiffy!

This is the HSF I have been waiting to see! It was only a matter of seeing who came out with it first. Initially, it looked like the Dragon Orb would be it, but this is definitely it !

Copper Core. 8-)
Radial Aluminum Fins. 8-)
Minimum airflow blockage around base. 8-)
60mm Form Factor. ;p

Well, 3 out of 4 aint bad.

Joe, do you have one for evaluation yet?
