creative use for peltier cooler

heres an idea how about sandwitching one between a HSF and a cold plate and mounting it cold plate up on your case to make a soda cooler/coffee hotplate (it would need to be about 4"x4" with a circular rim to hold container) just a usless thought.

I intended to do this once, except instead of the cold plate, I was going to try to machine it out of aluminum to fit the bottom 1" of a can perfectly, I had an independant study in metals and nothing better to do. I never got around to it, though.
