just wondering wat everyone else is running there 2200+@?
@ the moment i have mine[ARIGA 0232 "9"] running @ 2.2 on air.
FSB@150
CPUx@12.5
Sorry mate but fsb 150 x multiplier 12.5 = 1875!
Mines at 1.95 (177 x 11)
AIRGA 0234 FPAW
MDA.

u r right!...my bad in posting
CPUx@13.5.
its still locked....
Im on 185 x 10.5 = 1942.5MHz. I'm having a LOT of trouble getting any further.
vcore = 1.725
vdimm = 2.75
AIRGA0233RPBW
9
(what do all those numbers mean!? - especially the RPBW and the first number of the next line)
What are your voltages?

Voltage settings
CPUv@1.850
DDRv@2.8
AGPv@1.8
as far as i know "02" is the year an "33" is the week
"9" is said to be a faily good overclocker which mine is to.
as far as those numbers go heres a borrowed line from da
"Coolest:)"
AXxx00 means you got AthlonXP w/ PR of xx00+.
D, unsure, might be package type (Organic packaging).
M means the vcore, S = 1.5, U = 1.6, P = 1.7, M = 1.75, N = 1.8
S means the max case temp (b4 the CPU begins its frying), Q = 60, X = 65, R = 70, Y = 75, T = 90, S = 95. I'm not sure about the Q through Y tho, never saw them in use.
3 means the amount of L2 cache the proc will have, 1 = 64KB, 3 = 256KB.
C means the FSB speed, B = 100MHz (200FSB), C = 133MHz (266FSB).
feel free to correct me if im wrong...hope this helps:)
The question is:
Are there any 2200 B versions out there? Do they clock like the 2400's ???
And...
Are the new lower speed Tbeds just flunky 2200's?
Hmmmm???

I wonder how far this chip would go water cooled?..
Right now its by my A/C with the cover on an 4 fans [1 120mm and 3 antec 80mm fans] getting average 49-51c full load.
If i take the cover off the temps drop ALOT.
Right now im just trying to dail in everything with this MB an find the best settings. So far i scored 13117 with this MBan vidcard
My best so far is 13650 with my MSI KT3ULTRA ARU and a XP2000+@1.8 with the same card.

There are no 2200+ Tbred B's out yet. and the lower end tbreds are so far Tbred As, but they seem to hit about same speeds as the 2200+s do so i'd go for one of XP1700+ tbred rather than an XP2200+, which will prolly get you close to same speeds as the 2200+

Thanks for the info guys, will increasing my agp voltage help my overclock?
Also 8c0re8 those voltages seem to be very high because in ur sig ur just running at 1.8GHz, if i run at 1.8GHz i can use default voltages.

There will be 2200 "B"'s but it will be a while. 1800 "B" should arrive first.

edit: My 2200 can do 9.5 X 206 = 1993 on the Seti Benchmark (http://www.ocsetiteam.com/index.php?targetframe=other/bench.htm) .
But for normal 24/7 I run it at 10.0 X 193 = 1930.

yes the high voltages r needed for stability. @ least for me it is:)
an yes i have to update my sig the other chip i was using was a 2000+@1.8[AGOIA 0205 Y] but have since got hold of 2200+ so
im trying out this chip to see wat i can get on air..
I just overclocked it again today because i want the most out of my system as is possible, i'm currently on:
185x10.5 = 1942.5
vcore = 1.775
vdimm = 2.85
stable (prime95)
I think thats the max it will go on the current air cooling setup, i plan to upgrade to watercooling soon so hopefully will be able to break the 2ghz barrier.
I also did try 2GHz today, a number of different mult x fsb combinations. I would boot but it wouldnt pass prime95.

What kind of Motherboard r u using seal?.
can u CPUv go to 1.850?.
Im using an Abit KX7-333. Yeah i think it can go to 1.850v but its getting a bit too hot for me at about 1.775. (around 52ish deg c)

yea i know what u mean about those temps..
was looking into getting bigger hsf for all my systems but bought
a 15000btu kenmore A/C instead..laf. but the up side in now ALL
my comps stay cool in my room now. temps droped ALOT after i
got the A/C. [2.2@47c after letting q3 run for 5hours]

=[8c0re8]= you are not running at 2.2ghz.
13.5 x 150 = 2025mhz which is 2.02ghz, or rounded down - 2ghz, not 2.2ghz

LOL!
Sorry man but that sig is still too long :rolleyes: you're allowed upto 10lines of regular text, 13lines of small text (like mine) or 7 lines of large text, a line with a smily is counted as that line is a regular size, unless the text size is large

2gig. check the sig.
Sweet setup, what type of cooling are you using? Approaching 1.775v my comps getting a bit hot for my liking so i've tended to back off.

sorry all ab0ut the looong sig...i toned it down to 8 lines.
thanks for not bashing about it:)..
btw i droped my fsb to 148 for an even 2.0 an stable
now if i can only find my conductive pen...

Uh, me? Alpha 8045 with a 80cfm Delta on a TT Rheostat thinger. Have it at 4k for normal stuff, and 6k for gaming. Might be upgrading to a 2700+ in a few weeks so I can hold the same speeds with less noise/heat

You don't need pens, your chip is supposed to be unlocked, and your motherboard is KT400, so you should have free multiplier control, I suggest you try and change the multi to x11 to check if its totally unlocked on ur board. it all depends on the mobo, on most KT400 boards the chip IS UNLOCKED
My xp2200 needed conductive paint to unlock it. I have a Abit KX7-333. Mines unlocked, i tried to change the mults without unlocking but it didnt work.
