SK-7 w/ smart fan II

looks like you are on to a winner there. I hear the sk-7 is a great heatsink and I can confirm that the smart fan II is really good. Loads of the forum members have a thermalright + sfII combo :D

Personally, I think that this may be the best HSF combo right now for the money. I have 2 computers with the AX-7 and smart fan II, and they work great. I dropped my CPU temps several degrees when I replaced the stock Intel HSF.

One interesting note is that my case temp went up after installing the AX-7/smart fan II in one of my computers. It turned out I did not have enough air flow through the case to get the extra heat out of the case.
