Why is the Radion 8500 better than 9000

I keep on seeing ppl say that the R8500 is better than R9000, can anyone tell me what exactly is the handicap of the R9000 vs R8500?

I went to the ATI's site and they dont exactly tell much for 8500 unlike R9000 where they tell all the specs, there is no info about clock speed of the R8500.

Also what about the R9000 PRO version is it still handicap or R9500?

Also what is the diff between R8500 and R8500LE?
