whats a good (cheap) power supply for a 172 watt peltier that can fit inside of a case

are you sure its big enough for a 172 watt. I know its big enough for a 156watt bit not sure about 172. and how would you cover it/wire it. thanks

I wasn't paying attention. The 172W needs a 24V supply, not a 12V. That may be harder to souce if you want to put it inside your case, but for the right amount of money (read alot), it can be done.

Sometimes MJPA (http://www.mpja.com) has them. Make sure you can lower the voltage with a trimmer pot. Most PSUs have one. The sweet spot on the 172 watt pelts I have is 19 volts.
