What would be the best app. for monitoring Folding while using the least amount of systems resources and also which would be able to monitor my other computers through my LAN?
EMII or Foldmonitor?
Can i start and shutdown these without affecting folding processing by which i mean that folding will be uninterupted?

I know EMIII can monitor on the LAN, and it's also pretty widespread used here... :)
EMIII if you ask me...
...Which you did...
So..

I like em3 and KDfold evenly, they are both outstanding programs! i have both on my computer and usually alternate back and forth between the two! i recommend downloading both and giving each a shot!

I prefer EMIII. Easy to use, constant updates, the works.

I've been using foldmonitor since I started. Never even heard of em3 until lately. Tried em3. Prefer foldmonitor.
foldmonitor does work across the network. Keeps tabs on all 7 of my machines.
It is independant of f@h. You can shut down foldmonitor and f@h keeps right on folding.

EMIII is the same way. Just change the settings.
