On sites it opens the page I click on in some ****ty little window. I need to set it so that it opens the same size as the one Im clicking it on. This is about the most annoying thing I have ever dealt with.

You have to close the original window then resize(not maximize) that little window using the mouse and drag method Then close it.
That should do it.

he's correct windows likes to remember window locations and sizes, just set the size and location you want with the mouse and after that they should open up in that same place

Figured I would bump this old thread instead of making a new one. I just fresh installed XP and IE always opens in a small window. Even if I resize with the mouse then close, the next time I open IE it is still in a small window. Any ideas?

It should be pointed out, for the sake of clarity, that IE will only remember the size and location of an unmaximized window if it is the only IE window remaining at the time you close it.

how do you keep IE maximized ? Everytime I maximize it, then close the browser, then start a new one, it starts maximized. Then, after a reboot or something, it keeps starting minimized again.
