What is best at gettting rid of thermal compound on heatsinks and cpus

Don't know if it's the best but acetone (nail polish remover) works just fine for me

isoproply alcohole is also very good to use because it evaporates fast and leaves very little to no resedo behind

watch those nail polish removers. some of them do contain harmful oily residues. acetone and the highest form of isopropyl alcohol work for me.
