where do i get rid of the damn windows echo...

i have an audigy and in creative playcenter environmental effects are off but like when i do sounds it adds this echoy sound to the thing... where! can! i! get! rid! of! it!!!

Its the EAX game setting turned on. I have a toolbar with the different EAX options.

Right click the Audigy icon in the system tray and you have EAX options. You can then turn it off if you select the first EAX setting on the list of EAX modes.

i used to get this.... it stopped when i uninstalled all the audigy software and drivers and just reinstalled the base drivers only.. still get eax... just lose the annoying echo
