View Full Version : How much did it jump?
How much did your electric bill jump when you started crunching?
I'd attribute a jump of maybe 20-40% just due to the computers and stuff...but I have ten at home plus other stuff. For one or two systems its not much.
Cy
About 25% with a 10-15 computers running 24/7.

So what do you think that would be per computer? about 2-4 bucks each?

I figure as long as my parents don't get upset, I'm not using enough electricity. ;)
I figure $5/machine/month. Some of that is offset by less (very less) central heating. I only turned on the heat during a cool spell about two weeks ago. Very little since then.

Ohio has deregulation. I'd love to get the Farmer's Bureau as my supplier as that would cut cost in half but I don't qualify.
