maybe its just me being paranoid but i seriously believe that if i go to this event http://lan.harderror.com I will be jacked for my computer, what kinda lan party asks for the person to bring a monitor and cash?? can someone look into it? and after all it Is QUEENS and not everyone here is an angel. I for one am not gonna attend this lan event, i just find it a little suspicious.
EDIT: Also he said only 20 people are allowed.

*shrug* i dunno dood..it looks legit to me.
I make everyone bring money and monitors when they goto my LAN party....I don't charge anyone, but I'm not going to pay for food for everyone and I don't have 20 extra monitors lying around.
Most likely, if you're in a bad part of town and you look like you got money, then you're a target for theiving no matter what.

oh, i always thought they had monitors there, then i would need either a car or a flat panel monitor to go.

Yah, taking a monitor is pretty standard for every LAN iv ever heard of. As for money, like Dethro said, somobodys gotta pay for food, and also some large LAN parties have entrance fees.
flat panel would be really nice for a lan rig. alot lighter than a crt.

Yea some of the lan parties Ive gone to, you have to pay for food, and bring your own monitor. Good thing I got a flat panel.
