MOHAA Spearhead problem

When i tried installing the game it tells me that i have to update my MOHAA fine, the patch starts and it tells me that it can't find the game on my system???? i have tried twice with same results is it coz the game is installed in a custom directory? (instead of c:\program files\blah blah" it is installed in "j:\mohaa\") do i have to install it in the same directory as my windows is in?? i don't want that coz my windows partition is really small and i don't want 1.7gig something to go for the game that's why i had other partitions :(

oh i found out this thing there is this patch 1.10 and patch 1.11 do i have to patch 1.10 before patching 1.11 ???

i had that same EXACT problem!!! lol, i thought i was the only one... and i tried patching to 1.0 then installing but still does not work

download the german patch

sometimes you can unzip patch .exe's and manually install the files by selecting each file and replacing the older on in your game directory.

tried doing that too, i should get the german patch when i have the US version? will that work? stupid game keeps telling me that i don't have US or UK version on my machine :(

Kerry what do you mean by unzip the exe??? can you please explain ?

go look in your registry h-key local machine/software/ea games/medal of honor allied asualt/ and report back with what the directory within the allied asualt directory says.

just rename the .exe to .zip and see if it opens

try d/l the german patch and install it first, it worked for me

i will try your suggestions and see what happens, Kerry i unzipped the files it had setup and again it gave me the same error

just search for it on google. or go to www.megagames.com it's sooo easy to find a patch

Thanks megagames only had the english patch but i found the german patch thanks to google, anyways i hope its not going to screw up my language or anything in the game ??
