Now that tbreds are starting to show up in numbers, it would be nice to compile a master list of what the good steppings are and what steppings to avoid. If you have a tbred please post:
A)original speed
B)overclocked speed
C)voltage
D)motherboard you are using.
E)Stepping

Thanks.

Although I'm on watercooling now, I was getting 1950mhz at 1.7ghz on air as well. Watercooling hasn't really lowered my temps, but it has made my PC less noisy.

it'd be nice to know also with what people cool their chips. i'll post mine after i have received my mcx 462+

my temp at 2020mhz w/ the tbred 1800+ is 51C load which isnt horrible at 1.8v because it puts out a lot of watts of heat (97w) but i do not have ample cooling to increase the voltage higher. however, come tuesday, assuming i have no leaks, i will have a water cooling setup so all is good :D

A) 2400+ 2000 Mhz
B) 2224 Mhz so far...
C) 1.85v
D) Abit KX7-333R
E) AIUGB "9" 0244

Just getting off of work now after attending AMD Reality Check last night and picking this beauty up for the grand price of $0. Unlocked it at work. Will have some results in a few hours. I'll probably wind up watercooling this thing in a few weeks, but for now, it's gonna be an SK7 with 53cfm Thermaltake smartfan 1 (full-speed modded). Hoping to do about 2340 mhz, 12x195 and still be below 50C.

Edit: This chip is not nearly as hot as I thought. Even with 1.85v I'm getting about 30C for a load temp, on air. Though the ambient is 17C so maybe that explains it. It seems flakey above 2200 mhz and I can't get 1T timings to post anymore, nor can I get my FSB quite as high as I could with my palomino. Still need to test things for a few days and burn-in awhile guess...

Sweet Jon, is it 100% stable? The 1.7v is incredible.

Been there since the day I got it, folding/crunching away without a hitch.

Should have some PC3200 somtime around Christmas so I'm going to wait for that instead of unlocking bridges for additional multipliers.

Well, that's a good start, but I found folding doesn't truly stress for stability. In the past I've folded for days only to run Toast or Prime95 for 20 minutes and the PC crashes/locks up. 3D Mark, with Toast or Prime, also makes for a good stress tester.

If you can get 2.08ghz with 1.7v then more power to you! BUt I got windows to run a lot higher than 2008mhz I'm at now at lower voltage, but when I ran my stress test it promptly failed.

2 hours of Toast along with SETI didn't do anything. Don't really see any need in trying more than that as I won't ever push it that hard anyway. All it's going to do is fold.

Hear that, and Toast for 2 hours is probably a good indication you're fine. Congrats!
