hi there, my pc cuts out, psu still rinning, cpu fan is not, i pull my pc out of the unit, turn it on its side with cover OFF iand it runs fine, is it heat related or is my fan loose on cpu, or is cpu loose, its gotta be one of the 2 also can i be doing any damage with tower on its side,when i put it back up right, after a while it cuts out again, thanxs for any feedback.

How is your fan connected? If it's connected to the motherboard, either try connecting it to a different fan plug or using a 3 to 4 pin adapter.

See if your Heatsink is attached properly to the cpu. You may want to remove it and reseat it. does it sit firm right now or is there any freeplay?

Thats the AMD instruction sheet for installing a Cpu and Heatsink. It should give you the info you need.
