I got a Golden Gate 38cfm and it's so noisy. Is there anyway to make it run less noisy? Please help me out.

P.S. I heard someone said something about silicon trick would help, but i got no idea how to do that. hm....

I'm guessing you have Delta 38cfm fan, and the silicon trick reduces the vibrations on Alpha PAL or PEP66 heatsinks.

In your case you can make is quieter by giving it less voltage. Check this out: http://forums.overclockers.ws/forums/UltraBoard.cgi?action=Read&BID=5&TID=19364&SID=88903

Hope this helps!

Sorry for being slow, but i couldnt figure out what it is.
If it's the plug from the Fan to the CPU Fan then.... mine only has 3 wires: Blue (or yellow, i forgot), Red (Middle), and Black.
How can i reduce the voltage of this fan (Golden Gate 38 cfm).
Thanks,

DO NOT REDUCE VOLTAGE.

the Gladiator is designed to use high output of air you need all you can get and reducing voltage will only result in higher temps. the silicone trick is on the front page in the tips section look in the heatsink section, ive done it to mine and it works great for reducing noise.

goodluck
