Palm Pilots? New Zire?

Its only 99 bucks.. pretty cheap anyone has one? Other question is what can you do that is useful on a palmpilot.... that a desktop can do too? Besides make appointments or schedules... i can always write that on paper or memorize it.

stay away from the zire, its a toy, spend another 50 bucks and get the sony clie sl10

Go and get an older palm size pc for 50 bucks of ebay. I used one for a year and a half untill it got stolen:mad:
It was WAY ahead of its time
People said it was too hard to use, but for ppl who know computers, its not hard at all to figure out.
It has a 133mhz proc- not bad considering most palm pilots are still running at 33 or 66 (or something like that).
Plus, you get a beautiful 64k color screen.
At $50 its a steal.

What else can u do with palm pilots besides schedules and phonebooks? i want the i705 so i can be on AIM and check emails at the same time pretty cool, but expensive service.
