stupid (but needed question)

I have an ASUS kt400 mobo. The manual says that only samsung pc3200 is supported. Somehow I am skeptical. I really want corsair cas2. I really cant see any reason why it would work. Just double checking:eh?:

you can put any ddr in that motherboard and it will work.

assuming the ddr is 184pin and not some off the wall configuration.

pc2100 to pc3500 would be just fine. and higher when they get around to making it.

What that means is that they only tested that brand and model in the board. It doesn't mean that others won't work.
Sometimes, certain boards and memory don't like each other.
