Wierd CS Error

I was playing at home with podbot (yeah yeah yeah laugh all you want to :D) and for some stupid reasons (don't even ASK lol) i typed in console "slist" which normally shows the server list, and the next thing i know i got this wierd error which was funny in a way check it out

BTW i can't play CS in D3D but with OpenGL i play at 1600x1200 :D

thats the error half life gives when it cant find an active internet connection or your internet connection unexpectadly dies in a game

typing slist it tried to search for servers but couldt cause there was no way to look out, i assume you werent connected at the time (poor 56k baqai :()

and the error is rather funny

Interesting...

Some friends and I were having a lan and whenever one of us would try to start a Half life (we were playing the Natural Selection mod) server, we would get that error. From the looks of things the hub (it wasn't a switch, just a normal hub) we were using was fubared. In game we were getting pings of about 150, and this was a lan.

So that expanation makes a lot of sence. Make sure your connection is all right. :)

trail and error gave me the meaning of that error, tehy coulda made it a bit more discriptive, but ya gotta admit its a ton more fun to see error no error than a cryptic M$ memory dump...
