Question about R9700Pro

My Radeon 9700 pro card with with a DVI convertor .. should I plug my monitor into the connector and into the DVI port ?? what will it do ? what diffrence there will be ?

Probably wouldn't do anything. That adapter is just so you could use 2 analog monitors with it....

DVI is useful if you have a DVI capable display. DVI is usually cleaner and crisper because you don't have to conver the signal from digital to analog then back to digital the way you do with an analog display.
