Ok I've been looking around and I'm not sure what mother board to buy with a Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 Processor (Northwood) 2.8GHz, 533MHz FSB, Socket 478 Plus When i look at newegg they all say 2.0 ghz - 2.53 ghz.....so I got all confused

Pretty much any board that supports a 533Mhz fsb processor should work. I've used a 2.8 in an Asus P4S533 (which was not specifically rated for 2.8) and in an Albatron PX845PEV (which was) without any trouble.
If you are in the market for a new mobo, I'd get one with the new dual channel DDR granite bay chipset. Check out the new Asus P4G8X for example.

I just sent out a money order today for another ABIT TH7II- raid. I tend to stay with ABIT and ASUS boards fot the last few years.
Me personally i also am a RDRAM user and would only look at dual DDR boards the 2nd half of 2003 when they may surpass rambus by Intel using a 800mhz fsb.
Im planning to get the Gigabyte GA-8INXP for my 2.8. for the reason that gigabyte is stable and thanks to its dual 6 features. it will be fully loaded plus it got a blue pcb =)
I love my "new" P4T533(revised version) RAID 0 & PC4200 RIMMS, GB did not impress me with the recent benchies, maybe @ high overclock (180+) which your 2.8 won't reach for now .. but till GB prove something better than PC4200, I wouldn't even touch it :) .. RD kicks DCDDR anytime @ stock speeds...
PS. LOOKS SWEEEEEEEEET! ..
