I need a Program to Customize My Resolution.....

I need a program to customize my Resolution. we are going to get a new computer. and want to permanantly hook it up to the HDD tv. and the tv is in 16 X 9 Format. and i was thinking. couldn't i just change the resolution. To fit a 16x9 format? but i don't have any programs, that can let me choose my OWN sizes. cause i'd like 1024x576. Cause that would then be in the 16x9 size. so, does anyone have a program that would let me do this? Hope to hear from ya all soon.

I think that PowerStrip offers some more options than Windows does. These are non-standard resolutions so it's not guaranteed to work.

Nope. i have Powerstrip 3.15, or whatever version it is. either its there, and i don't see it, or It doesn't have it. if anyone knows EXACTLY how to change it how I WANT IT. then please tell me. i just want to test it out on my monitor first and stuff see what happens.

Ok, i'm blind. i found it. grrrrr. anyone know of anything easier? cause this stuff will be for my dad.

it is easy. after you define the custom resolutions and save them - all you have to do is select them as you would any normal resolution.
