Updating Shuttle Ak31 With New Cpu

Hello:
Trying to update my (old?) AK31 board now using ATHLON 1800XP with ATHlon 2200 or 2400XP .
According to AMD website, AK31 is not prepared to receive CPU over 1800XP .
Is there any difference in voltage? . Which are the steps to follow , if any, to use a more powerful chip on this board?.

There are different voltage requirements, but any palomino voltages would not fry a tbred so it's not of major concern. The multiplier support seems to be the issue, and as the tbreds are all unlocked for the lower multipliers, that may not be an issue either.

Putting the chip in and powering it up is really the only way to know for sure if there's no "official" word from the manufacturer.
