Hehe...the P4 multi's go up pretty high huh ;)
Intel does make unlocked chips, but they are only engineering samples (not for sale to the public) that are made for some type of review or benching of the processor. In other words, unless you have some type of connections, you will have a very hard time trying to find one :(

20x100 = 2000.

the multipliers go even higher on the faster chips. all the way up to 26. :D

keep an eye out on ebay. I even have seen one go for sale on the anandtech forums but even that is a rare event.

You cannot legally obtain an unlocked Engineering Sample unless Intel provides it to you (like when you work there). It's also often not worth it, as these chips have odd steppings and do not overclock very well, despite being unlocked.

The best way to overclock a Pentium is to increase the Front Side Bus speed and see how far you can go. See my sig for an example at 133Mhz FSB.

My Abit Beta bios has a list of multis up to 35 - 35x133=4655mhz, but the new 800(200)FSB P4s will run lower multis again...
