Hello all ,

I have a old Acer V75M mobo with K6-2 cpu and I have been inspired by site and others to attemp a little OCing .

I downloaded the 4.18 MBM and when I enable it I get two warning right away that tell my cpu is 267F and that my core volage is 12v to high.

So my question is either how do get real # 's on temp. and/or core votage or what other application should I try to monitor my MOBO ?

Any help will be appriciated.

Thankx ahead

Welcome to the forums JB, its nice to have you here.

I am not sure if your motherboard has temps sensors but if it does you can also try MBprobe. I don't know if it supports your chipset but you can give it a try. I bet motherboard monitor doesn't work because your chipset is to old to be supported. If you don't have a temp sensor you can always get a compunurse to monitor your temps. Here is MBprobe (http://www.tweakfiles.com/cgi-bin/dl-http.cgi?web.bham.ac.uk/jst829/mbprobe/mbprobe131b1.zip)

You might try Sissandra if it does not work its still a good free program to have, pretty useful for most overclockers.
