way to divide a partition?

i have an 80G HDD NTFS /w XP Home... i am consider int installing a dual boot lunix or somting... is there a way to partioin my HDD into 2 without losing any data (it is onyl just over half full and id want like a 20G partiont for the other OS...) i know i cant do this is DOS or /w the HDD software... but can i make a bootable partiotin using some other software? my guess is gonan be knwo but i figured id ask thnks:D :eh?: :D

Partition magic will do the trick. You should be able to find at someplace that sells software. It'll let you partition your drive into any number of partitions and not kill the data in them. Great piece of software.
