Samsung Pc2700 any good?

Planning to get 2 sticks of Samsung Pc2700 with Granite bay mobo. If the cpu is able to run 166fsb, will this memory run 166fsb at cl 2?

It may. I know that the Samsung chips used to be the ones of choice for PC2700, but I am not sure how they compare nowadays.

BEfore the entry of the PC3000's+ ram, Samsung memory were along the highest rated memory. But one thing to note that the CTL model ram were more desirable than the DTL models and performed better. Ever since newegg stop carrying the CTL, people here have been switching to Corsair, muskins and other brands.
