i am trying to overclock my computer to its limit (with air cooling) i ran several tests..

13.5*135 @1.650
13.5*139 @1.675
13.5*143 @1.700

they all booted fine and loaded windows

when i change it to 13.5*152 @ 1.75 comp won't post =/ i also tried it @ 153fsb and still won't post.. is it because my vcore is too low ?

i won't make the fsb above 144 and below 152 because the 1/5 dividor won't kick in until 152.

1.75 is the highest it will go in the bios.

you are not going to be able to overclock very much if at all with the retail heatsink..get a new one if you want to overclock..thats the first problem for you.

temp don't matter right now... with a box fan i can get my temp 4C lower none overclocking.. and if i took my pc to the window (35C outside) it will be even lower :)

Trust me temp matters.

Best I've EVER seen amd stock heatsink give is 60*C @ load and thats in a frigid room with a case temp within 1*C of room temp.

Although to be fair I just think you've reached the limits of your chip. Maybe with a decent Vcore boost you can hit 152... but that's 2052mhz, And from what I hear XP's (excluding Tbred B's) that can go well over 2000mhz are few and far between.Drop the multiplier and try again.
