A gamecube, or PS2, or yatta yatta box just because they have a game that is "exclusive" to their console? no freakin way! I can't see spending over 200 clams for a device that my comp already does, no matter how good the game.
I think game developers are shooting themselves in the foot by locking their titles to one console only. That is almost as bad as only making one game for a console.
Some titles never get to "primetime" simply because the console that the game is "exclusive" to is not selling well, or unpopular.
In the gaming world, exclusivity really blows, and doesn't do the market any good. who wants to drag out one console after another just to play a certain title, and have to change back after the game is finished? not me.
There is some really cool games coming out this year, but I ain't spending ANY amount of money for a box just to play a certain game title...and with my computer, it already has it's own spot, and never needs moving, but a game console you have to put back after done (in most cases)

Exclusive should be cut out of game developers dictionaries.
And I wish I knew of a place to tell the game developers just what I think, because I'm not alone in this attitude, and would like to see what others say to them.

I realise that console makers seem to need an "exclusive" title to get their box selling, but I have another idea...why not make your box so much better that everybody will want one? If a new console can make your old Quake II game look and feel better, and your new games scream at you with mind blowing video, wouldn't that be a better selling point?
I also realise that some dev's are just lazy enough to want to be exclusive so they don't have to port their game over to another console..(too much like work)
Well, I've just about used up this rant, looks like I'll have to find something else to complain about.
