128mb of DDR (needs more)
32mb radeon mobility
30gb hd
8x dvd

.....i'm loving every minute of if :):):):)

best of all it was only $999

time to add it to the sig

anyways I just had to share the good news with people that would understand it.

Nice deal! I saw the updated version of my Toshiba in the ads this week...same price I paid but some more speed (and most likely the new P4 based Celery), and Nvidia graphics.

Ah well...I can play UT so I'm happy...but I've had some issues on some DX8 games with the Savage8 or whatever graphics it has...probably woulda run better with the Nvidia...but hey, it's been serving me so well otherwise :)

yeah dell had some good celery-based laptop deals, but i really wanted a p4--I had a celery many ages ago but I didn't care for it so much.

this CPU is actually a p4 desktop, so battery life is bound to be short, but i'll be plugging it in wherever i go so it's not a huge issue.
