Alright, think I may have finally found the right card for my dad's new system. What do you guys think of this http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduct.asp?DEPA=&submit=Go&description=N82E16814102242
I'm mainly looking for a card that will not cause any problems, is stable, and can survive the occasional ut2k3, etc. game(little bro:D) Will this card meet these requirements. And how would it compare to a GF4 MX440 se?

Maybe more people will come in when they see one reply... as useless as it may be.
I am ordering a Saphire Radeon 9000 Pro 128 Mb @ 275/550 and I'm just wondering how this will perform. says it's compatable with 2x/4x/8x 1.5V/.8V but I'm assuming it's only a 4x card....
I am right that the Radeon 9700 is the only 8x Radeon?
Edit: These cards should be miles above the GF4 440 MX

The Sapphire 9000 based video cards are udder complete garbage. It is the last thing to buy if you want stability. The retail ATI 9000's seem to be ok, but I have seen the same things from 3 of them. They scroll jerky and play horribly slow in games, I'm talking 2-5 FPS. The ATI Catalyst drivers are supposed to work with OEM cards, but refuse to even load with the Sapphire 9000 and all the drivers that Sapphire have don't fix this issue.

I don't know how people do it, I've had nothing but complete success with every ATI card I've ever touched. In fact the only video card trouble I've ever had was with GF2->GF4 cards.

I have had no problems with any ATI card either. As long as it was built 100% by ATI. These OEM ATI cards sometimes leave a lot to be desired.

Ok, I have a Q... I decided to go for an 8500 LE due to an overwhelming majority of people saying it's the best of the best... well I want a 250/250 or 250/275 card and there isn't enough information on these sites to tell me if it is. Are all "Built by ATI" 8500 LE's 250/250 or are do they have a range from 250/200 - 250/275 like "powered by ATI" cards?
