i went ahead and wrote my operating system a+ certification exam first before my hardware, well the bad news is i failed, i got 275 and i needed 600. Its not fair i study real well for that exam and i knew i was ready for it, but the **** on the exam was nothing to do with all the major concepts the book covers, anybody do this exam and pass? and can anybody tell me what the best think i can get for this exam version 220-222 so i can pass it the second time? what is the best book out their that well make me do good on this exam. i have one book with a cd and everything on it, aced all the 286 possible questions that can be on the exam, and still i fail the certification, i have tried numerous sites and done real well on their exam and still fail the certification. Someone tell me what the best book will be to pass this exam.

Don't sweat it man, it happens to the best of us.

i have my a+,Net+, MCSA, and almost my CCNA. And the webiste i used for all of them is Cramsession.com plus the book.

Sounds like you are using a bad book.
I almost had your situation- I was literally one question away from failing on the os part :D

I used the exam cram A+ - its really good for hardware but only a partial refrence for os- it dosent go into deep detail.

Was it those stupid NT4 questions? Those almost got me:D there must of been 10 of them out of the 30.

There are ways to get a discount on it.
My old isp actually had half off discounts on the A+
My school had the same deal.
