HEY! im about to start designing a copper waterblock for my system and im jsut wondering if there is anything i should keep in mind. thanks :)

Also iv got my choice of either a brass heatercore or an aluminum Transmission radiator and im not sure which to use.

If my memory serves me right aluminum will get rid of the heat faster then brass.

but al rad and cu block will corroide..

-edit- it will accerlate the process.. lol

I also have a copper radiator but its alot bigger and my dad dont want me to cut it up :(

are you sure the heatercore isnt just brass on the outside? most heatercores have brass tanks and outside and then they have copper tubes that run down the center. the copper is whats trancefering the heat.

According the the FEDCO pdf on heatercore4u.com the tanks and water channels are Brass, inlet and outlet barbs are 100% pure copper.

and just fyi Brass is a Copper-Zinc alloy

My Chevy Chevette core is BRASS TANKS with COPPER Barbs in stock form. The cores are copper with brass fins.

Well shucks ur rite, its just that the side fins are gold colored for some reason so i just assumed it was all brass heh heh...
