Hey guys I am looking to get a steering wheel with the gas and break pedals for my pc. Which one do you believe is the best, also are there some out there that can be used on both pc and ps2??

Thanks ;)

there are lots of different favourites here. my favourite is the thrustmaster 360 modena pro. it has two clamps (one either side) and is VERY sturdy compared to single clamp wheels. it is the best wheel i have ever used.

the general feeling is that force-feedback steering wheels are not worth the $$$. they are loud and generally not built well. stay clear of them

word....
i bought a Guillmont ferrari one.... and returned it... i found it actually made games HARDER to play not easier....

force feedback was cool at times, but having to pull the wheel outta your way when your done is annoying

Just bought the Logitech Driving force. Works for PS2 and the pc, you just have to install drivers form logitech website. I like it a lot, its pretty sturdy. I LOVE the force feedback, although it can get loud with the pc, I can't hear it hardly at all with the ps2. I'd definitely recommend it, I got mine on sale at Circuit City for $70, probably still going on. It also comes with an attachment so you can have it in your lap, not just clamped to a desk. The lap holder is my favorite thing about it.

OMG, get the logitech momo force at newegg. Excellent quality, and works with ps2 and pc. It uses a different mechanism than the cheaper geared ones that make lots of noise. I think it is metal gears or a belt. Its only $150. If you dont want to spend that much i would go for the regula formula force for like $90 or so. But for the extra money it is well worth it.

Tomshardware.com has a great roundup. Guess what the winner was. MOMO.

I have to say, that headband youre wearing is pretty gay looking. lol.

Yea it was tom. Hard ocp is also influenced by other sources. That doesnt mean everything is wrong on either site.

If you dont want to, dont take his word for it. Go to any other review of the wheel. There is likely not one bad review of the wheel on the net.

I was so pi**ed when cmr3 was canceled for pc. Now to get some cmr3 w/ wheel action i will have to buy the ps2 version. Which will likely look like complete shi*.

Im not even sure why it was canceled. I just remember it was going to come out. And then all of a sudden i visited codemasters site and they only had release info for the ps2 and xbox.

MS probably payed them to not release it on pc.

it wasn't canceled, the release date is still 'Spring 2003' for the PC version.
