inline amp for regular headphone jack?

okay many of you may or maynot know my problems im having with a home stero type deal

i think the probelm is that the line from the tv is too low so i turn it all the way up and i get this hummmmmmmmmmming in the line



is there anything i can put inline to bost the singal ?

about how much will it cost and where can i get it

and most improtantly have you ever used something like it before

you can either get a high quality headphone amp from www.headphone.com or you could just get a pair of POS speakers (the only requirement is that they have a headphone out and they plug in to the wall) and plug em in to that.
