NTLDR is short for NT Loader...the computer post and then can't find your OS. Check to make sure the hard drive with the OS is connected and BIOS recognizes it. Also make sure you don't have floppy in the drive while you start...
Of course I am assumming you have installed an OS

lol!
I did that just now:D
I rarely use floppies (did an essay for work on one last night - left the floppy in the drive), so it always catches me out.....

hehee that is such an easy mistake to do and very hard to figure wtf is going on with the pc mistake.trust me i do alot also.always reconfiguring and forgeting the darn floppy.
i dont remember how long it took me to figure out what "NTLDR is missing" meant.still dont know really.im thinking nt format loader, and it cant access the hdd since floppy is first boot in most syetems.

I hated with my ntldr went missing, that sucked. Like deathstar it took me a long time to figure it out too.
Sorry to hijack the thread, deathstar I noticed your cpu is at 11x182, My 2200 is at 13.5 x 143 right now. Did you lower the multi in order to get the fsb higher? Im new to ocing.

yeh i just did the horseshoe trick on the 5th L3 pin.i think thats the one double check the unlocking threads tho.using defogger repair kit.
what you have should be able to get 180 fsb.its not gaurenteed but u may need to up the vdim voltage also.and relax the timings. my 2700 will run 2.0-2-2 182fsb.but most 2700 will do 180 -2.5-3-3
btw i hope u bought the raid version of the a7v as u haveing 2 hdds would really help performance.
dont worry i dont think you hijacked it as its pretty much answered the question and its just comments now.

are your partitions formatted NTFS or FAT32 ? if it's the latter, get a Win98 bootdisk, copy NTLDR, BOOT.ini and NTDETECT.COM on the floppy, boot up and copy them to your root drive (C: partition). If it's formatted NTFS, take out the drive, put it in another box, which has either WinNT, 2k or XP (or maybe linux, it might work too), and copy these files to the root of the drive you just brought (the one from the compu you can't boot up). That way, it'll reinstall hte boot loader, and all should work.
It sounds to me like you formatted your root partition or something, and by doing htat you lost your boot loader. What are the last changes you did to you partition tables / root drive files ?
